Part-Time Psychologist

Location: Mount Vernon, WA
Schedule: 1-2 days per week
Compensation: $200 per completed evaluation

Position Overview

We are seeking a Washington State, fully licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) to join our team on a part-time basis to conduct psychological re-evaluations for Washington State Labor & Industries referrals. This position is ideal for a psychologist looking to supplement a private practice, transition toward a more flexible schedule, or maintain clinical involvement without the demands of ongoing treatment responsibilities.

This role is focused exclusively on briefer, re-evaluations. There is no therapy caseload or ongoing patient management.

Position Details

  • Part-time position with a consistent commitment of 1-2 days per week.

  • Compensation of $200 per completed re-evaluation.

  • These evaluations are primarily follow-up or re-evaluation appointments conducted to satisfy Washington State Labor & Industries in-person assessment requirements.

  • In most cases, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and treating providers have already been established, resulting in a focused clinical interview and concise report rather than a full comprehensive psychological evaluation.

  • Typical appointments and documentation requirements are significantly shorter than a traditional independent psychological evaluation.

  • No ongoing caseload or therapy responsibilities.

  • Must be available to perform evaluations on-site at our Mount Vernon, WA office location and occasionally at our Bellingham, WA office location.

  • Ideal for psychologists seeking supplemental income or flexible part-time work alongside a private practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological re-evaluations for Washington State Labor & Industries claimants.

  • Brief review of provider records.

  • In some cases, psychological testing and full psychological evaluations may be requested, these are paid at a higher rate.

  • Prepare clear, concise, and timely written reports.

  • Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with Washington State licensure requirements.

  • Work collaboratively with administrative staff regarding scheduling and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Psychology.

  • Current Washington State psychologist license in good standing.

  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills.

  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Medical Billing Specialist (Part-Time, On-Site)

Pay: Starting at $22.00/hour

Cascade Neuropsychology is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team. This is an on-site, part-time position in a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment dedicated to providing exceptional neuropsychological services.

Schedule

  • Training Period (First Month): Monday-Thursday, 10:00 AM-2:00 PM

  • After Training: Monday-Thursday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

The initial training schedule is designed to provide hands-on support and ensure a successful onboarding experience.

Compensation

  • Starting pay of $22.00 per hour

  • Higher pay may be considered for candidates with significant relevant medical billing and/or workers' compensation billing experience

Position Summary

The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for supporting the practice's billing and collections processes, ensuring timely claim submission, monitoring reimbursement activity, and maintaining accurate patient billing records. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialized expertise in workers' compensation billing, with potential for expanded responsibilities and career growth within the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Enter patient information into the practice management software

  • Submit insurance claims accurately and timely

  • Follow up on unpaid, delayed, or denied claims

  • Research and resolve billing and payment issues

  • Communicate with insurance companies and healthcare providers regarding claims and reimbursements

  • Maintain accurate records of billing and collection activities

  • Audit chart notes and documentation for billing errors

  • Post charges and payments to patient ledgers

  • Perform data entry and other billing-related administrative tasks

  • Assist with additional revenue cycle responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

Preferred Experience

  • Previous medical billing experience and/or WA State Labor and Industries billing experience preferred, but not required

Helpful Knowledge

  • Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding

Remote Clinician - LMHC or Psychologist

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Position Overview

We are seeking an EMDR‑Certified LMHC or Psychologist to join our team. We offer both part‑time and full‑time roles, and all clinicians begin with a lower initial caseload to acclimate comfortably before building to their preferred schedule.

This is a fee‑for‑service position, with competitive earnings and generous benefits.

Compensation

  • Annual earnings: typically $80,000 – $115,000, depending on part‑time or full‑time schedule

  • Fee‑for‑service pay structure

  • Minimum caseload: 16 clients/week

  • Full‑time caseload: 24 clients/week
