Dr. Kelly Crenshaw

Dr. Crenshaw is a neuropsychologist practicing in Bellingham, Washington. She has a broad range of clinical experience in neuropsychological and psychological assessments but specializes in traumatic brain injury, personal injury, ADHD, and neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Crenshaw is licensed in both Washington and Texas. She earned a Doctorate and Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the Texas School of Professional Psychology in Dallas, Texas. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Her clinical neuropsychology residency was through the Institute of Clinical Neurosciences where she focused her training on assessments of brain injury patients and those suspected to have dementia. She has also worked in a comprehensive brain injury recovery program. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, Pacific Northwest Neuropsychological Society, and the American Association of Pain Psychology. Dr. Sarah Saxvik

Dr. Saxvik is a clinical psychologist practicing in Bellingham, Washington. She has been providing both psychological assessments and individual psychotherapy for over 20 years. Dr. Saxvik is licensed in Washington. She earned a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and a Master of Arts degree in Existential Phenomenological Psychology from Seattle University. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. Her clinical psychology post-doctorate internship was at the Western Washington University Counseling Center. Dr. Saxvik has extensive experience treating a range of mental health disorders with a particular focus on complex trauma. In more recent years, she added Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to her treatment approach. Leah Grupp-Williams, LMHC

Leah Grupp-Williams is a mental health counselor and psychometrist practicing in Bellingham and Mount Vernon, Washington. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Cultural Studies from Macalester College. Leah’s clinical background includes providing behavioral health services to youth, families and adults in outpatient settings, schools, and detention centers. Dr. Erin Brunton

Dr. Brunton is a psychiatric nurse practitioner and a family nurse practitioner practicing in Bellingham and Mount Vernon, Washington. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice with dual certification in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Practice from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas. Dr. Brunton has worked extensively with in-patient psychiatric patients of all ages during her 6 years of RN experience, focusing on a wide range of diagnosis including ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety, Bipolar, and Schizophrenia, among others. Dr. Brunton is a board certified PMHNP through the American Nurses Credentialing Center as well as a board certified FNP through American Association of Nurse Practitioners. 


 
 

Dr. Tracii Kunkel

Dr. Kunkel is a clinical psychologist actively licensed and practicing in Florida and Washington. He has a diverse range of clinical experience encompassing individual and group therapies as well as individual assessments.  Dr. Kunkel earned a Doctorate and Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, Illinois, where he conducted research out of the Center for the Study of Family Violence and Sexual Assault. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from Indiana University. Dr. Kunkel is a Recovery Model Psychologist, with a focus on recovery from mental illness and rebuilding a life of meaning and purpose. While on his residency at the Harry S Trump VA Hospital in Columbia Missouri he assisted in developing their Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center to help veterans with persistent mental illness find hope and healing. In 2012 he came to the Orlando VA to start a similar program in Daytona Beach, leaving that in 2019 to focus more on Guitars for Vets, a program he founded utilizing music in mental health. Dr. Kunkel is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and certified in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and Acceptance Commitment Therapy for Depression. Although CBT is his “home base”, he likes to incorporate interventions from Positive Psychology, focusing on an individual’s strengths and personal values to help them get back into a meaningful life in their community.


 
 

Dr. Marie Skanis

Dr. Skanis is a clinical psychologist practicing in Bellingham and Mt. Vernon. She earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Clinical-Community Psychology with rural-indigenous emphasis from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Alaska Anchorage and a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Psychology and French from Western Washington University. Dr. Skanis is trained as a generalist and has experience working with concerns such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related difficulties, adjustment concerns, gender and identity concerns, personal growth, existential concerns, relationship issues, and life transitions. Dr. Skanis’ approach focuses on building a strong relationship that emphasizes collaboration, mutual understanding of the problems patients are facing, and helping patients make meaning of and develop insight regarding the issues they are facing to empower them to make changes in their lives.


 

Jessica Worley, LMHC

 

Jessica Worley is a licensed mental health counselor practicing in Bellingham and Mount Vernon, Washington. She has earned a Master of Arts in Professional Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Portland State University. Jessica’s clinical background includes providing behavioral health services to children, families, and adults. Dr. Kara Witt

Dr. Witt is a clinical psychologist with a PhD from the University of Minnesota and with many years of experience. Her style is collaborative and respectful with a focus on strengths, while her techniques are evidence-based and tailored to each individual's needs and preferences. Some of her methods include Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MBCBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Behavioral Activation, Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE), couples counseling, and Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT).

Dr. Elsa Baena

Dr. Baena is a bilingual is a neuropsychologist practicing in Arizona, Washington State, and California. She earned her master’s degree in psychology and doctoral degree in neuropsychology from the University of Arizona. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Spanish/cross-cultural adult neuropsychology at Baylor College of Medicine. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Her expertise includes the neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of individuals with a variety of neurological diagnoses, including neurodegenerative conditions, acquired brain injuries, cardiovascular diseases, and brain tumors. She also conducts pre- and postsurgical evaluations for deep brain stimulation (DBS) and epilepsy surgery. Ana Trejo, LMHC

Ana Trejo is a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Therapist in Washington State. She has a master’s in counseling psychology and a bachelor’s in psychology. Ana is a native Spanish. She worked in Chicago with the Latinx Community as a Therapist; in Mexico, she worked as a counselor with low-income communities, minorities, and people with disabilities. While she likes to keep a professional relationship with her patients, she is caring and genuinely connects with them. Dr. Anna Magnante

 

Dr. Magnante is a neuropsychologist with extensive training in evaluating and treating patients with neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism, ADHD), neurodegenerative diseases (e.g., dementia, MCI, Parkinson's) and acquired brain injuries (e.g., stroke, TBI). She is actively licensed in Washington, Virginia, and Florida, and has the authority to practice interjurisdictional telepsychology through the PSYPACT commission. Dr. Magnante earned a Doctorate and Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Regent University. She completed her clinical internship on the neuropsychology track at the Central Virginia VA Healthcare System, and a postdoctoral neuropsychology fellowship within the Mid-Atlantic Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (MIRECC) at the Salisbury VA Medical Center. Dr. Magnante has been academically affiliated with the Wake Forest School of Medicine, Department of Neurology, where she served as an adjunct professor. Her clinical work and research interests include improving the accessibility and quality of neuropsychological services available to patients in outpatient settings. Dr. Magnante has published numerous papers and has presented her research at the National Academy of Neuropsychology, American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, and American Psychological Association annual conferences. She is also a member of the Society for Clinical Neuropsychology and the International Neuropsychological Society.


 
 

Craig Kern, LMHC

Craig Kern is a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) practicing in Bellingham and Mt. Vernon, Washington.
